CAC is offering free QPR Training sessions through the Mental Health and Trauma Recovery grant to empower individuals with life-saving skills. QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training equips participants to recognize the signs of a crisis and take actionable steps to prevent suicide.

Psychological First Aid (PFA) is an evidence-informed modular approach to help children, adolescents, adults, and families in the immediate aftermath of disaster and terrorism. Individuals affected by a disaster or traumatic incident, whether survivors, witnesses, or responders to such events, may struggle with or face new challenges following the event.
Training is from 8:00am-4:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break from 11:30am-12:00pm.
