About This Program

CAC’s food bank serves as the backbone of our food security programs, supporting the Dane County Food Pantry Network (DCFPN), the Jefferson County Food Pantry Coalition, and food distribution to sites in Waukesha County.

We participate in The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), a federally funded food program administered through the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services. TEFAP is a program of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and provides food for pantry shelves and meal sites in Jefferson and Waukesha counties.

For more information from CAC, contact our Food Bank at cacfoodbank@cacscw.org or our intake line at (608) 237-1255.

If your certified non-profit organization would like to learn more about becoming a TEFAP partner, please submit a completed Food Bank Agreement form (PDF | Word) and/or contact cacfoodbank@cacscw.org.

In accordance with federal civil rights law and USDA civil rights regulations and policies, CAC is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity. To learn more, visit the USDA Nondiscrimination Statement.

CAC is an equal opportunity provider.
