New Executive Director

The Board of Directors of Community Action Coalition For South Central Wisconsin, Inc (CAC) is pleased and excited to announce the selection of Jim Schroeder as its new Executive Director. The selection was made after a national search and selection process.

Jim comes to CAC with more than years 16 years of non-profit leadership experience. His most recent role was serving as the Executive Director at Respite Care Association of Wisconsin (RCAW) since 2003. Prior to that he was the Executive Director at People Against Domestic & Sexual Assault in Jefferson County, Wisconsin.

In addition, Jim currently serves as the Chairperson for the Jefferson County Board of Supervisors. He has served the Board of Supervisors since 2010. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Jefferson County Literacy Council.

Jim will bring leadership and creativity to CAC programs and a deep sense of commitment to the mission and communities served by CAC. He has served non-profits at programming, leadership and executive levels so he will bring a wide perspective and experience to this position. The Board of Directors is eager for his employment to begin on February 1, 2017. Please join us in welcoming him to CAC. In Jim’s words,

Community Action Coalition For South Central Wisconsin, Inc (CAC) was established as a community action agency and a 501 c3 organization in 1966. Its mission is ‘To develop economic and social capacities of individuals, families and communities to reduce poverty in Dane, Jefferson, and Waukesha Counties.
