Located in McPike Park every Tuesday evening from 4:00-7:00 p.m. during the outdoor season, the Madison Eastside Farmers’ Market brings some of the freshest Wisconsin grown and produced food to the eastside of Madison. Providing a space to connect farms, farmers, and families on the east side, this market is deeply rooted in its community! 

Starting in 2002, the market was initially sponsored by Willy Street Cooperative, who also supports and operates the Double Dollars program. Then moving to and hosted by Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center as McPike park went through renovations. Since 2016, the Eastside farmers market has called McPike Park it home, and continues its mission to help support and transform our local foods system.  

Driven by its mission statements, one goal put into practice at Eastside Farmers’ Market by supporting SNAP/EBT transactions is to, “To expand the availability of organic and natural foods that are fresh, full-flavored, unique, healthy, and nutritious to the near east side community.”
