CAC - Get a Garden

Find a Garden Near You
Click on the image at the right  to open the map of Madison's community gardens. It is best to get a plot at a garden that is near where you live or work, so that it is easy for you to go there often. Look up the desired garden in the list below, contact the registrar, and ask to be added to their list.

Register

Attend Registration Day for the garden you chose. This is when you'll reserve your plot,

volunteer for some whole-garden maintenance tasks, and pay the plot fee.  Plot fees

are determined by a sliding scale, and are between $10.00 and $65.00 per plot.

Start Gardening
Once you have a plot, prepare and plant as soon as you can! Plots that don't get planted within two weeks of the garden's Opening Day can be re-assigned to someone on the waiting list.
