CAC has restructured its programs to streamline services, combine staff functions, and meet the needs of our funding realities. As part of that effort the Food Security and Community Gardens Divisions have been combined to create the Food and Gardens Division.

The combination seems natural as we focus on building our community and finding the most dignified way for people to get food into their households. In doing so, we want to ensure that basic needs for all members of our community are being met.

All of the services offered by each division will continue to exist. Besides the name change, the most noticeable difference to you may be new faces. If you have primarily done business with one division or the other, you have become accustomed to certain staff. You will continue to see those staff, but may also encounter folks that have always been around here now helping out in new areas. We are all excited about the possibilities as we combine our efforts and learn more about each others’ programs!
