CAC Gleaners
Food-Recovery Routes

Year-round routes.
Routes take as little as one hour per week, and volunteers use their own vehicles.

Seasonal routes.
These routes involve asking farmer's market vendors if they would like to donate to Madison food pantries (they have been donating for years, so it is easier than you think). You will need a van, SUV, or pick-up with a cover, in case of rain. Both routes start the first week of June and run through end of the market season. Both are perfect opportunities to share within a business, service group, or church group. Training and support will be supplied.
