Financial Assistanceeviction notice

The Financial Services Program focuses on helping participants acquire and improve the skills they need to increase their financial security. We provide assistance for individuals experiencing a short-term financial crisis and for those interested in improving their financial literacy and money-management skills.

Housing Support

CAC has limited funds to help those who need financial assistance due to a housing crisis. Financial assistance is provided through a monthly drawing- on for Homelessness Prevention on the 2nd Wednesday of the month and one for Rapid Re-Housing on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. After talking to an Intake worker, individuals may be eligible for financial assistance.

How to get housing help from CAC:

  • Call the Housing Crisis Hotline at 855-510-2323 from 8:00-4:30 Monday through Friday to complete a Housing Intake. During that time the Housing Crisis Worker will take your information and describe the programs. You will be referred to any programs based on eligibility. They also can provide information and referral to other community programs in the area.
  • Most adults who are helped will receive budget counseling.
  • CAC can help with mediation and advocacy between landlords and tenants.
