Help Homeless Families Move
Volunteers need to have access to a truck or van and have no lifting restrictions. Volunteers are needed on an on-call basis and will be asked to help no more than a couple of times a year.

Help Staff with Data Entry
We need a volunteer to help with our monthly data entry (program statistics). Volunteer needs to be familiar with Microsoft Excel and have 1-2 hours to donate. Could be a one-time volunteer opportunity or a monthly / bi-monthly opportunity.

Help with Excess Household Goods Distribution
We need a volunteer to help with our weekly distribution of household supplies in the Clothing Center. A volunteer is needed for 1 hour on Tuesday afternoons, between 3:00 and 4:00 pm. The volunteer would be working to select excess household goods from our Homeless Supply Room and set them up for weekly distribution from the Clothing Center which takes place on the following day. Lifting is required for this position.

Sort Household Items for Homeless Families
When the Family Support Division finds a place for a homeless family/individual to live, the family/individual rarely has the essentials to set up a home. Fortunately, we receive donations of household items on a regular basis from Bed Bath & Beyond. We need a volunteer to unpack and organize these items so that caseworkers can get these items to those who need them most. We especially need an individual who could help for a couple hours about once a week. Lifting is required for this position.
